Frank Cindrich is a specialist advisor for data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity.  A former corporate counsel and advisor with 18 years of experience, Frank worked with two of the Big Four consultancies to define approaches, methodologies, and capabilities for privacy and cybersecurity and led privacy and security assessments for Federal agencies and Fortune 500 clients.

An advocate for privacy and security by design, Frank led the development of guidance for the Executive Office of the President and the Federal CIO Council regarding the integration of privacy and security into enterprise architecture strategy.  He was also the lead specialist advising senior officials with the US Department of Health & Human Services in the development of strategy for privacy and security of electronic health records and health information exchange.

Frank enhances understanding of privacy and security requirements as well as trends in the legal landscape, so that executive strategies and corporate operations can better manage risk to data and infrastructure and respond to evolving requirements.  Frank actively contributes to the COBIT body of knowledge.

He is a certified information privacy professional and certified in the governance of enterprise information technology.  Frank is a national and international featured speaker for privacy and cybersecurity.
